Here is a recipe for grilled Tandoori chicken skewers:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Tandoori spice blend
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, lemon juice, Tandoori spice blend, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours.
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and lightly charred on all sides.
6. Serve the Tandoori chicken skewers hot with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
Optional: For extra crispiness, you can brush the chicken with a little oil before grilling. Also, you can garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or mint leaves for added flavor and freshness.
