How to make potato sandwich recipe easy for you with tomato sauce - Aloo Samosa with Chutney
Here's a recipe for a simple and tasty potatoes sandwich:
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread
- 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Butter, as needed
Instructions:
1. In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
2. Add onions and green chili, and sauté until the onions turn translucent.
3. Add turmeric powder and red chili powder (if using) and mix well.
4. Add the mashed potatoes and salt to taste, and mix well until the potatoes are well coated with the spices.
5. Cook the potato mixture for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let it cool.
6. Take two slices of bread and spread butter on one side of each slice.
7. Spread the potato mixture on one slice of bread, and cover it with the other slice, butter side facing down.
8. Heat a sandwich maker or a griddle over medium heat.
9. Place the sandwich on the hot griddle and cook until the bread turns golden brown and crispy on both sides.
10. Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
